Description
Pivot’s revered and best selling trail bike, the Trail 429, has finally gone through the refinement process after a lengthy run, and comes out the other side a TrailCat SL – we couldn’t be more psyched! This bike is aesthetically gorgeous, and the updates are subtle yet impactful. The bike retains a 120mm travel Fox Float rear shock, but bumps up the Fox 34 fork from 130mm to 140mm of travel. The slightly shorter rear end, slacker head tube angle, and steeper seat tube angle are designed into anUltra-Light Hollow Core Carbon Frame that is size-specific tuned to achieve precise balance between stiffness and compliance.
The TrailCat SL combines XC-inspired efficiency without sacrificing the trail capability that inspires confidence when the terrain turns unpredictable. The finely tuned dw-link suspension is insanely efficient, and promotes unparalleled traction on the nastiest of climbs, while the plush and lightweight Fox 34, 140mm fork soaks up the trail chatter and bigger hits to keep you in control when descending.
