You can send an interactive SOS to the 24-hour search-and-rescue monitoring center with the inReach Mini Marine Bundle.The in-reach weather forecast service is an optional feature that sends detailed updates to your inReach Mini or linked device; basic and premium weather packages are offered.
Instead of relying on mobile service, if you activate the satellite subscription, your messages, SOS warnings, and tracking will be sent via the global Iridium satellite network. It includes a screw-down mount, so you can safely secure it to your helm.
