Backwoods introduces the Hi-Lite bull bar, a cutting-edge hybrid model made of both steel and aluminum, specifically designed to fit all 3rd genTacoma models. This name derives from its high-clearance design and exceptionally lightweight construction.
Traditional aftermarket front bumpers are typically crafted from either steel or aluminum, each offering its own advantages and disadvantages. Recognizing this, Backwoods decided to combine the best attributes of both materials, resulting in a hybrid bull bar that possesses the robustness of steel, while remaining lightweight and resistant to corrosion like aluminum.
The Backwoods Toyota TacomaFront Bumper Bull Bar features a 30lbs full aluminum shell and a 54lbs steel winch cradle, combining to create a total weight of only 84lbs. Impressive enough, it can accommodate winches up to 12,000 lbs in capacity. Additionally, this bull bar is compatible with skid plates, providing enhanced frontal and underside protection.
While it is relatively easy to install, we recommend seeking professional assistance if you have no prior experience with front bumper installation. Noteworthy features include 2 D-Ring shackle mounts, 2 square light cutouts suitable for most aftermarket pods, a flat top platform for light bar attachment, and a high clearance design that significantly improves approach angles.
